Getting to capture senior photos in St. Louis is always special, but this one was extra close to my heart.
A Long Time Coming
I’ve known Elyse since she was in 8th grade (!!), and from the very beginning, her gorgeous smile, bubbly personality, and sweet heart made her shine.
When it was finally time for her senior photos at MICDS, I just knew this session was going to be something unforgettable.
It wasn’t just about pretty pictures — it was about celebrating her journey, right here in St. Louis.
Starting Strong at Stone Soup Cottage
We kicked things off at Stone Soup Cottage in Weldon Spring — one of Elyse’s favorite places. Picture this: golden hour sun, endless blooms, and Elyse absolutely glowing in the middle of it all. ✨
The light, the flowers, the energy — it was pure magic.
And can we talk about her outfits?! Every single look was spot-on — soft, flowy dresses that matched the flower fields perfectly. She seriously looked like she walked straight out of a fairytale.
Golden Hour Vibes in Downtown Cottleville
As the sun started setting, we headed to downtown Cottleville for even more dreamy spots. We found the cutest streets, more gorgeous blooms, and even a cozy restaurant strung with twinkle lights (which, of course, we had to use!).
The light was buttery and perfect, and Elyse’s energy made every photo sparkle.
After Dark at The Factory
And just when you thought it couldn’t get better…we took things up a notch!
We finished the night at The Factory in Chesterfield, where the edgy, industrial vibe gave Elyse’s photos a whole new look. Think city lights, starry skies, and a little bit of glam. ✨
It was the perfect way to show off a different side of her style — modern, confident, and absolutely stunning.
The Little Things That Made It Perfect
We had our amazing hair and makeup artist on site the whole day to keep Elyse’s look fresh and flawless — because when you’re running around in golden fields and exploring the city, you need that extra magic touch. ✨
