One of my favorite things about being a senior photographer in St. Louis is how many incredible locations we have to create your perfect session.
Whether you’re dreaming of lush parks, downtown city vibes, quirky spots, or somewhere totally personal — St. Louis has it all.
Here’s a little peek into my favorite locations to photograph seniors — and why they make the perfect backdrop to tell your story!
Forest Park — A Dream Location
If you’ve followed me for even a minute, you know Forest Park has my heart!
We could honestly spend days here and never run out of amazing spots.
Some of my favorite places inside Forest Park are:
- Pagoda Circle and The Muny: Wide open spaces, fountains, and gorgeous architecture — perfect for classic, elegant shots.
- The Jewel Box: Stunning greenhouse vibes with tropical plants and beautiful lighting year-round.
- Victorian Foot Bridge: A charming, tucked-away bridge that feels like a fairytale.
- The Cascades: A dreamy waterfall and rock feature that adds so much texture and movement to your photos.
- Endless Water Features + Bridges: Everywhere you turn in Forest Park, there’s another gorgeous scene waiting.
If you’re looking for a mix of nature, historic charm, and pure St. Louis magic — Forest Park is it.

Best Urban Locations for Senior Photos in St. Louis
Sometimes you want a little more edge, energy, and city vibes for your senior session — and I’m always here for that too!
- Delmar Loop: Colorful murals, funky storefronts, record shops — it’s vibrant, fun, and full of personality.
- Clayton: Sleek, modern architecture, clean lines, and city-chic vibes — perfect if you want a more polished, editorial look.
- The District in Chesterfield: A newer, fresh location with great lighting, murals, and cool gathering spaces — ideal for casual, stylish photos.
- St. Louis Wheel + Union Station: If you’re going for fun, bold, and slightly edgy senior photos, the St. Louis Wheel is such a cool backdrop — especially at night when it lights up!
Urban sessions are such a fun way to show off your trendier side while still keeping things totally you.

Beautiful + Charming Outdoor Locations
If greenery, historic charm, and beautiful architecture are your vibe, these spots are a must:
- Main Street St. Charles: Cobblestone streets, colorful storefronts, cute cafes — it feels like stepping into a storybook.
- Lafayette Square: Historic homes, iron fences, blooming parks — it’s timeless, elegant, and so photogenic, especially in the spring and fall.
These locations give you the best of both worlds — nature AND architecture — in one gorgeous session.

Unique and Unexpected Spots
If you want to mix it up even more, these one-of-a-kind locations are amazing:
- Central Library (Downtown STL): Those marble staircases, giant windows, and intricate architecture make for some of the most breathtaking senior photos.
- City Museum: Totally quirky, artsy, and colorful — if you’re adventurous and love something different, this is the spot!
- Vintage Vinyl: For my music lovers, this iconic record store gives major retro-cool energy that’s seriously fun to capture.

Meaningful, Personal Locations
Some of my absolute favorite sessions happen when seniors choose places that are personal to them.
Your home, your favorite museum, a cute hotel lobby, your go-to coffee shop, your family’s backyard — anywhere that tells your story makes your photos even more special.
I’m always excited when seniors suggest spots that mean something to them — because the truth is, it’s not just about the location.
It’s about YOU. ✨
